In the first days of April, the Puyehue was a giant asleep in the middle of the Andean snow. In April, a seismic swarm motivated the decree of early preventive yellow alert for the bordering sectors to the volcano Puyehue in the regions of "Los rios y lagos".
In that moment, the telluric movements decreased up to disappearing almost completely, only to return with major force at the beginning of June, after which there was cocked the eruptive process of the drawstring Caulle, provoking the evacuation closely of hundreds of persons, in addition to serious damages to the flora and the local fauna.
