I'm dancing for my rights: My education!

Since more one week ago, the students have been carried out students protests in all of Chile. These protests are organized in the internet and call a millions of student to fight for their rights.

“Along Chile, there are too many protest with banners, shouting and sometimes the people come to blows but, when do the people dance for their rights?” the students declared

The University of Chile's students and another more met to take part in the "Thriller of the education", where the most popular Michael Jackson's song did dancing and fight for their rights. This situation marked the mobilizations like something "new or innovative"

"Thriller simbolizes that the education is dying" declared the organizers on Facebook. "We are like zombies in the education and the society. They don't allow us fulfill our dreams nor fight for a quality education"

The meeting was on June 24th, 2011 at 17 o'clock in the "Plaza de la Ciudadanía", opposite the palace "La moneda". The initiative exceeded 2000 participant and a number similar to people went to the street and danced like a zombie. This marked one special moment in the Chile's mobilizations.

The girl who was conceived for artificial insemination!

A Brazilian woman gave birth one girl who was conceived for artificial insemination with the frozen sperm that was preserving of his husband, who died last year for a leather cancer.

The mother will leave the hospital in company of his daughter who is in mint condition of health.

Katia Lernerneier, called his baby with 'Luisa Roberta', and his birth was qualified as "a new start" and, in addition, he assures that Luisa looks like his father.

The couple had tried without success to have progeny when the husband of Lernerneier still was alive, for what the marriage decided to freeze a sample of semen to try artificial fertilizations. It managed to occupy this sample asking for judicial authorization since it had not left anything in writing.

Puyehue Volcano's eruption

In the first days of April, the Puyehue was a giant asleep in the middle of the Andean snow. In April, a seismic swarm motivated the decree of early preventive yellow alert for the bordering sectors to the volcano Puyehue in the regions of "Los rios y lagos". 

In that moment, the telluric movements decreased up to disappearing almost completely, only to return with major force at the beginning of June, after which there was cocked the eruptive process of the drawstring Caulle, provoking the evacuation closely of hundreds of persons, in addition to serious damages to the flora and the local fauna.

From Chile was discovered a new galaxy

European Southern Observatory’s astronomers have discovered a new galaxy similar to the Milky Way.

This amazing galaxy, called NGC 6744, is in the Pavo constellation, to 30 millions light years.

NGC 6744 unlike the Milky Way, the first is bigger than the second. The astronomical discovery is twice as big. This characteristic make us possible create a longer distance vision of our galaxy.

This new galaxy has a shine of sixty thousand million suns scattered for the all area, make a spiral form like a blur light and a brilliant center with flashed around it.

This new discovery begins to open astronomical advances and a new vision of a galaxy, its components and characteristics. Besides a longer distance view similar to our hazy.

The classic movie about the little lion will come back in 3D

The Disney’s magic movies don’t finish on the two-dimensional screen. Everybody remember the classic about the little lion and now, it's coming back in three-dimensions. “The lion king” returned with more technology.

"The lion king” is one of many Disney's movies and musical classic. It was released in 1994 and it is seen until today. It’s based in a Shakespeare's work, Hamlet. The movie treats about a lion called Simba that goes on from the stage of the childhood to the adulthood, putting up with the obstacles in the way.

The story tells Simba's life, a puppy of lion that adores his father, the king Mufasa, who died when he was a child. Then, the kingdom is ruled by his wicked uncle, Scar. After that, the lion starts to come in the stages that make it grow up and confront really complicated situations.

This movie won two Oscar. Besides it was won a prize for "the best soundtrack" (it was wrote and made by Hans Zimmer) and another one for the best song “Can you feel the love tonight” by Elton John. This film is one of best. It collected more of 750 millions dollars.

This classic was released for second time in 2003, but now it'll come back with a more advanced format and offering the same beautiful memories about our childhood.

Hidroaysen: the current talking point

Hidroaysen is a Chile's energy project. It consists in the building of five hydroelectrics in two rivers in the Chilean south. This project is the one of the bigger. It'll to help the Chilean people. Also, going to unify two energy companies to form a monopoly in the administration.

This project was approved on May 9th, 2011. This situation has been creating polemics and rejection for the people's part. Their answers are from simples opinions to violent protests march in against it.

From 1961, Chile's been trying to search some energy resources in the south. This situacion has taken the companies to make these project and propose them to create energy. These ideas, of spite be very well in economics aspect, also make big social and environmental impacts in the region as well as in the rest of the country. These conflicts have been studied and approved, to which made a shady impression because, like today the people express, there're more than 50% of chilean people in opposition.

This project are going to affect the chilean landscape, flooding 5900 hectares and requiring 3000 kilometers of electric cables along the involved regions. This situacion carries to serious damages in the tourism of the Chile's south.

Hidroaysen has been generating the disapproval for part of the chilean people. This has gone creating protests  in Chile and others countries. An example is "Patagonia sin represas". It calls groups together to try to find solutions with renewables energies in Chile like the solar energy in the north or wind power in the south, the thermoelectric energy too, but this is scarcer.

Declarations have been sent to favor and in opposition to the project. The declarations in favor were falling into the President Sebastián Piñera, who approved the project with the condition of preserve the environment. Also, exist the opinions that disapprove the renewable energies for his high cost and difficulty. The declarations in against meet expressed in the mobilizations, in some diplomatics, musicians or public figures.

Our opinions about it, are that this project shouldn't become . We think renewable energy has more expectations and doesn't contaminate the environment in the same proportion, despite be more expensive and take up more space.

In conclusion, the advantages of the project are the energy price is going to fall, making cheaper the economic development. Also, it's an assured source that doesn't require so many space, work and money like the others alternatives. And the disadvantages are the waste of the undeveloped sources, the little care about the environment or tourism. Besides, It doesn't creates conscience of how to use correctly the energy. The project too has been a controversy target, creating violence into the people. Aside, this situation has taken to rise the voice and the town opinion.
